This exclusive label unites authentic Norbertine abbey products under a single name. The label was created to protect the values of the Norbertine Order and prevent a proliferation of unofficial products. 

The ANP label ensures that abbey products are only made to provide for the livelihood of Norbertines. Possible royalties also go directly to the abbeys. They not only ensure the abbeys' survival, but also serve to support good works or help other abbeys and monasteries where necessary.

Each abbey can decide which charities the proceeds will go to.

Criteria for
obtaining the label

The product must always be produced by or on behalf of an existing Norbertine abbey or priory recognised by the Order of Prémontré.

Each product must have a certain quality and fit within the spirituality or history of the Norbertine Order.

03

If the product is commissioned by the abbey, royalties must be paid to the abbey annually.

You can get the label by submitting an application. A committee has been set up for this purpose which, after investigation and consultation, decides which products are awarded the label.

To manage all of this, a body with legal personality was set up to perform legal acts. Affiliated abbeys can participate by making a fair contribution according to their capabilities.
